La Quince LLIPA !

Producer: La Quince Brewery

Beer: Llipa

Style: American IPA

Country/Region: Madrid, (Spain)

Draft/Bottle: Draft

ABV: 6.4%

IBU: 100

Tasting:  At Garage Beer Co (Barcelona), on 12th of June of 2015

Appearance:  Dark orange and brown as the typical American IPAs style. Good and persistent beige head.

Nose: Malty and citrus. Not so much hoppy to be brewed with dry hop. However, You can feel notes as pines and herbs.

Taste: Very bearable beer with malty and caramel notes. Well balanced between the sweetness and the bitterness.

Notes: Notwithstanding of the 100 IBUs, is not pretty hop load beer. Good beer and well balanced. This has been the second time that I have had the opportunity to taste something from La Quince Brewery. The other time was the Vanilla Black Velvet in collaboration with Guineu. These guys know how to brew pretty well. #brewwild!
