Drinking good beer in Madrid
Madrid is a gorgeous city, not just for food, also for craft beer. But the good thing about the places that I want to show you is that mixing both: great food and excellent beers. Are more craft beer places in Madrid, and I will write up about them in future entries, but these are ones that you can’t miss out if you are going to Madrid.
The Stuyck Co
Great restaurant in Malasaña with 14 taps mixed the best from Spain and part of the world. The food is a must if you want to pair with excellent beer. Good knowledge service and good rotation in craft beer. They usually have a lot of events and meet the brewers. We highly recommend the deserts 🙂

Brew Wild Pizza Bar
I think that there is nothing better than craft beer paired with pizza. When I travel, try to find this kind of places is always in my first choice. Brew Wild Pizza Bar is possible thanks to La Quince Brewery and La Birratorium Bottle Shop.
The bar is a beautiful place with a cave from the past century in the city center of Madrid (near Sol) with 15 taps of fresh beers and natural pizzas. Some beers on tap are from La Quince but also have good international ones. Pizzas are fresh and all the ingredients are naturals. In my opinion, It’s one my first choices for a good dinner with friends and beers

Spanish omelettes and croquettes with craft beer? Why not… Pez Tortilla is a good option if you a looking for a traditional Spanish food and craft beer. From time to time, you can find beers such us Pliny the Elder by Russian River, Double Jack IPA by Firestone Walker and more top beers from the States. It’s normally busy but worthy to try.
Where: Calle del Pez, 36
Craft Against The Machine
Quality tapas and Spanish craft beer is the main key of Craft Against the Machine. Managed by the guys of “La Tienda de la Cerveza -Bottle Shop”. Formed by 6 taps, two from Arriaca and four in continuous rotation, CATB offers a good selection of beers on taps and on bottles to paired with tapas of excellent quality. Good choice to have ” the aperitivo” with friends and chat in a well decorated small bar in the center of Madrid. The place preserves the front of the old barber shop which it building used to be.
Don’t forget try patatera Extremeña and… humus :——)
Where: Calle de Embajadores, 31
18 taps and more than 100 bottles is the presentation of this bar. One the most famous in Madrid partly owned by Yria Cervezas Artenas. Good services and beers from UK, The Netherlands, North America, Spain, etc. Must worthy to visit as they usually have some top beers on tap.
Where: Calle La Fe, 19
