Borefts Beer Festival (Part I)
Yesterday I was in a Tap Takeover of De Molen at Nother Monk. A perfect warming up for the Borefts Beer Festival. Borefts is organized by the Dutch brewery De Molen, probably, one of the best European breweries organizing one of the most iconic beer festivals in Europe.
How the festival works?
Borefts will take place 23rd and 24th of September from 12:00 to 22:00. I don’t know about past editions but in this one, only 3600 tickets will be on sale, and a ticket is mandatory to attend. The awesome thing, is the price. For 25€ you will have the entry for one day, the glass, and 10 tokens. Each token cost 2€ and each beer is just one token! So It’s a good price for the kind of festivals where I have been.
If you don’t drink beer, you also need a ticket.
Finally, I will have the chance to drink some beers that were always in my dreams. Here the list of the breweries that will be present at BBF16
- Alvinne Brewery (Belgium)
- Bakunin Brewery (Russia)
- Bevog Brewery (Austria)
- Birra del Borgo (Italy)
- Brasserie Thiriez (France)
- Brouwerij Kees! (Netherlands)
- Cascade Brewing (U.S.A.)
- Dry & Bitter Brewing Company (Denmark)
- Gänstaller Bräu (Germany)
- Labietes (Latvia)
- La Pirata (Spain)
- Lervig Aktiebryggeri (Norway)
- Närke kulturbryggeri (Sweden)
- Oedipus (The Netherlands)
- Omnipollo (Sweden)
Bodegraven is the town where the festival and the brewery is based. Find accommodation nearly can be difficult and expensive for that reason I prefer to sleep in Rotterdam at the easyHotel
