Beavertown Black Betty
Beer: Black Betty
Style: Black IPA
Country/Region: Tottenham Hale, London (UK)
Tasting: At home
Appearance: Dark with a creamy beige foam.
Nose: Citrus, pine and coffee
Taste: Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and roast malt. The finish is malty up front with a lingering piney hop aftertaste.
Notes: Last beer for the Beavertown Beer Week. This black IPA has really nice aromas, in this beer, they have used three of my favourites hops: citra, columbus and chinook. I am not pretty fan of this kind of styles, but Beavertown has released a perfect well balanced black IPA.
